Mundra Port Feb limestone imports down 65% m-o-m

Limestone imports through the port of Mundra decreased one-fourth to 3,067 tons in February 2016 from 8,853 tons in January 2016, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
During the first 11 months (April-February) of the current fiscal (2015-16), limestone imports through the port stood at 103,561 tons.

Of the total limestone imports in February 2016, a volume of 590 tons came from China at a price range of Rs 12,444-Rs 12,640 ($182-$183) per ton, 477 tons came from Malaysia at a price range of Rs 2,927-Rs 3,871 ($42-$57) per ton, 1,010 tons from the United Arab Emirates at Rs 7,615-Rs 7,620 ($111) per ton and the remaining 936 tons came from Vietnam at a range of Rs 4,180-Rs 7,034 ($61-$103) per ton.
Of the total limestone imports in January 2016, a volume of 324 tons came from China at a price range of Rs 12,217-Rs 12,671 ($182-$185) per ton, 6,773 tons came from Malaysia at a price range of Rs 3,725-Rs 4,006 ($40-$59) per ton, 808 tons from the United Arab Emirates at Rs 7,509 ($111) per ton and the remaining 948 tons came from Vietnam at a range of Rs 4,122-Rs 8,823 ($61-$131) per ton.
