NCL earmarks Rs 1,162 cr towards land costs for 5 yrs

November 18: Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL) has earmarked a total capital outlay of Rs 1,162 crore to meet its land related costs during the next five years, a company source said.
The outlay for the current year is Rs 29.50 crore, while that of the next year is Rs 115 crore, the source said.
Apart from land, an investment of Rs 323.67 has been estimated for building costs. These will be part of the capital outlay estimated to achieve stipulated growth in production.
NCL aims to increase its production from 80 million tons (mt) in 2015-16 to 110 mt in 2019-20.
