NCL’s rakes scenario for e-auctioned coal worsens
08 Jan 2016
The availability of rakes at various projects of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) for loading of e-auctioned coal has worsened a little over recent months, according to information available with ICMW.
At the Dudhichua project, the pendency has gone up substantially to around 1.5 months as of January 6, compared to 12 days in September 2015.
The pendency has also gone up for the Krishnashila project to 20 days from 12 days in September.
At the Bina project, however, pendency has been reduced marginally to 12 days from 15 days previously and at Jhingurda to 10 days from 12 days.
The situation at Jayant has remained the same, ie, zero pendency, for regular allotment. For allotment in special e-auction, the pendency is above 1 month.
