NINL cuts LAM coke offers by Rs 700/ton in January

NINL is offering LAM coke on NINL plant basis at Rs 11,800 per ton in January, as against Rs 12,500 per ton in December, according to information available with ICMW.  

The price is exclusive of excise duty, sales tax, freight and other duties.

The total material offered is 2,200 tons.

The specifications of LAM coke include moisture 3% (max), ash 12.5%, VM 1%, FC (dry basis) 85%, sulphur 0.6% max, CSR 63.5%.

The delivery would be through rail or road on actual weight basis.

NINL is offering discounts in the range of Rs 200 per ton to Rs 600 per ton for purchase beyond the range of 2,200 tons to 6,600 tons. 

The offer is valid till January 31, 2016.

Domestic coke prices have come down by Rs 500-Rs 1,000 per ton in the last one month as steel mills are procuring the material from overseas markets, where offers have hit lows of $118 per ton CFR India from $130 per ton CFR in the last fortnight’, according to a coke-maker in India.

Current domestic offers are hovering around Rs 11,500-Rs 12,000 per ton.
