March 17: The consultancy wing of NTPC has bagged the contract for providing Owner's Engineer Consultancy Services to Sri Lanka's Trincomalee Power Company Ltd (TPCL) for setting up a 2x250 MW coal-based power project at Trincomalee.
The contract agreement between NTPC and TPCL was signed in Colombo on March 13, by TPCL's Managing Director Atul Srivastava and Director M C Wickramasekara, and P K Bondriya, General Manager, NTPC Ltd, at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), in presence the of W B Ganegala, Chairman, CEB, Sri Lanka.
