NTPC director bags award

May 20: K Biswal, Director (Finance), NTPC, has been awarded the CMA-CFO Award in the public sector (manufacturing) category in recognition of the efforts made by him in the areas of innovative cost and management accounting techniques in the workplace, said a company statement.

The award was given by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India during its 56th foundation day in New Delhi.

Deepak Misra, Justice, Supreme Court of India, presented the award to Biswal in the presence of J M Shanti Sundaram, IRS, Chairperson, CBEC, Ministry of Finance, the statement added.
