NTPC floats IFB for development of Kerendari-A coal block

May 13: NTPC Limited, India's largest power utility, has floated an invitation of bids (IFB) for development and operation of Kerendari-A coal block in the Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand, according to information available with ICMW.

The broad scope of work includes land acquisition, construction of R&R colony, providing all manpower, including statutory manpower, removal of overburden and dumping the same at the designated sites, mining RoM coal, loading of coal into trucks, crushing of coal, transportation from the coal face to the crushers among others.

Interested parties can submit their bids till June 27, 2014 up to 3 pm.
