NTPC Energy Technology Research Alliance (NETRA), the R&D wing of NTPC Ltd, will hold a conference on ‘green power challenges and innovation’ on June 8 and 9, at Noida, near New Delhi. This is NETRA’s second annual R&D conference, and will focus on thermal power plant performance and efficiency, carbon capture and utilisation, water conservation, grid management, renewable and alternative fuels, waste-to-energy and ash utilisation.

 

R Chidambaram, Principal Scientific Advisor to GOI, VK Saraswat, Member NITI Aayog, and Ajay Mathur, DG-TERI, are expected to take part in the conference.
