Nabha Power in market to procure upto 0.23 mt imported coal

June 23: Nabha Power Limited, a Punjab-based Independent Power Producer, is in market to procure upto 0.23 million tons of imported steam coal and upto 0.30 mt of blend of domestic and imported coal, a company source said.

The company has floated a bid document for supply of monthly quantity of upto 0.75 lakh tons imported and 1.0 lakh tons of blend of domestic coal and imported coal for a period of three months between July and September 2014.

The imported coal should have the calorific value of 6300 Kcal/kg (GAR) or 4400 Kcal/kg (GAR) whereas for the third type of coal it should be primarily domestic coal with maximum blend of 30% bituminous imported coal with GCV of 4400 Kcal/kg GAR.

The last date for downloading of Bid Documents from NPL website is June 23 and last date for bid submission date is June 28.
