Gypsum imports stood at 8,014 tons via New Mangalore Port in February 2016, down 83.02% compared to 47,202 tons imported in January 2016, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
A volume of 108 tons of gypsum had been imported via this port in February 2015.
Total gypsum imports through the port during the first 11 months (April- February) of 2015-16 stood at 275,615 tons against 227,034 tons seen in the same period of the previous fiscal.
Imports of gypsum through the port in financial year 2014-15 stood at 284,184 tons.
