New Mangalore Nov pet coke imports sharply up m-o-m

December 29: Pet coke imports via New Mangalore Port stood at 113,481 tons during November 2014, sharply up from 5,000 tons imported during the previous month, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In November 2013, pet coke imports via the port stood at 66,822 tons.

Total imports of pet coke through New Mangalore Port in April-November, 2014-15 stood at 358,787 tons against 283,009 tons recorded in the same period of the previous financial year.

Following is the monthly break-up of met coke imports via New Mangalore Port in 2014-15 and 2013-14 (in tons):

During November 2014, the entire material came from United States at a price range of Rs 6,294-Rs 8,773 ($101-$142) per ton whereas in October 2014, the entire material also came from United States at a price of Rs 6,334 ($102) per ton.
