New Mangalore Port increases draft at 3 berths

December 2: New Mangalore Port on December 2 said that it has increased draft of three of its berths following dredging.

“Due to improvement of the water depth at approach channel,lagoon and berth face by continuous dredging, the maximum permissible draft for berth No.10, 11, 15 and 14 W are increased to 13.75 meters with 1 meter height of tide with immediate effect,” a statement from the port said.
