New vigilance chief appointed at Western Coalfields

 November 12: Ashok Prahlad Labhane, Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE, 90) has been appointed as the Chief Vigilance Officer in Western Coalfields Limited, Nagpur on deputation basis, for an initial period of three years from the date of his taking charge.

The post is extendable for a further period two years in the same CPSE or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier, according to an official communique from the Ministry of Coal
