Neyveli Lignite production in July falls far below target

Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited (NLC) has produced only 1.95 million tons (mt) of lignite during the month of July, which was nearly 21% lower than the target of 2.46 mt set for the month.

However, overburden removal during the month was 17.28 mt, which was 20% more than the target of 14.39 mt for the month.
