No G1, G2 grades offered on coaljunction in Oct

November 4: G1 and G2 grade of coal were not offered for allotment via e-auction on the coaljunction platform during the month of October 2014.

However, there was high demand for G1 grade (GCV above 7,000 Kcal/kg) on coaljunction in September 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 8,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 6,113/ton.

On the other hand, in September, high demand was also witnessed for G2 grade (GCV ranging from 6,701-7,000 Kcal/Kg) offered as the entire offered quantity of 8,250 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,907 per ton.
