No Mar steam coal/pet coke imports via Kakinada

April 28: There were no imports of steam coal and pet coke via Kakinada Port in March, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In February steam coal imports through Kakinada Port stood at 679,168 tons.

Imports in February comprised 55,000 tons from Indonesia at a unit price of Rs 3,458 ($55) and 49,515 tons from South Africa at a unit price of Rs 4,371 ($70) per ton amongst others.

As far as pet coke is concerned, there were no pet imports through the port for four consecutive months since December 2014.

In November 25,020 tons of pet coke were imported through the port.
