No PCI coal imports via Mamargoa Port in December

There were no PCI coal imports via Marmagoa Port during December 2015, as per provisional information available with ICMW. Incidentally, imports of this material via this port had stood at 83,093 tons during November 2015.

For the first nine months (April-December) of the current fiscal (2015-16), PCI coal imports via Marmagoa Port stood at 212,976 tons against 257,186 tons in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

However, there were no imports of PCI coal via the port in December 2014.

Following is the monthly break-up of PCI coal imports via Marmagoa Port in 2015-16 and 2014-15: 

In November 2015, the total quantity came in from Australia at a price of Rs 5,318 ($80) per ton.
