There were no PCI coal imports via New Mangalore Port for the last six consecutive months, as per provisional data available with ICMW. Last time PCI coal had been imported via this port was in June 2015.
There were no PCI coal imports via this port in December 2014.
Total PCI coal imports through the port during the first nine months (April-December) of 2015-16 stood at 6,300 tons against 155,408 tons seen in the same period of the previous fiscal.
Imports of PCI coal through the port in financial year 2014-15 stood at 274,334 tons.
