No PCI imports in November via Krishnapatnam Port

December 9: There were no imports of PCI coal via Krishnapatnam Port in the month of November 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

 Incidentally, after a month’s gap, imports of PCI coal via this port had resumed with 117,186 tons in October 2015.

 For the first eight months (April-November) of the current fiscal (2015-16), PCI coal imports through Krishnapatnam Port stood at 289,730 tons while imports of the commodity through the port in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15) were at 5,000 tons.

 The following table gives details of PCI coal imports through Krishnapatnam Port in 2015-16 and 2014-15:

In October, the entire quantity of 117,186 had been imported from Australia at a price range of Rs 5,189-Rs 5,631 ($78-$86) per ton.
