No anthracite imports via Mamargoa Port in December

There were no anthracite coal imports via Marmagoa Port during December 2015, as per provisional information available with ICMW. Incidentally, imports of this material via this port stood at 44,000 tons during November 2015.

For the first nine months (April-December) of the current fiscal (2015-16), anthracite coal imports via Marmagoa Port stood at 149,970 tons against 67,230 tons imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

However, there were no imports of anthracite coal via the port in December 2014.

Following is the monthly break-up of anthracite coal imports via Marmagoa Port in 2015-16 and 2014-15: 

In November 2015, the total quantity came in from Russia at a price of Rs 5,416 ($81) per ton.
