No anthracite imports via V O Chidambaranar in Jan

There was no imports of anthracite coal via V O Chidambaranar Port (Tuticorin Port) in January 2016, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

For the first 10 months (April-January) of the current fiscal (2015-16), anthracite coal imports via this port stood at 220 tons against 100 tons in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

The following table contains details of anthracite imports via VO Chidambaranar Port (Tuticorin Port) in FY2014-15 and FY2015-16:

In December 2015, out of the entire volume of 69 tons, 35 tons had come from the UK at a price of Rs 26,338 ($392) per ton and 34 tons from Vietnam at Rs 15,808 ($237) per ton.
