No coking coal imports through Karaikal Port in Jan

In January 2016, no coking coal was imported through Karaikal Port, according to provisional data available with ICMW. In December 2015, the same was imported via Karaikal Port after a gap of three months and the volume stood at 48,975 tons.
Total imports for the first 10 months (April –January) of the current financial year stood at 139,160 tons while the same was at 45,853 tons in the same period of the previous year.
