No coking coal imports via Ennore Port for 8 months

 November 24: There have been no coking coal imports reported in October 2015, as per information available with ICMW.

 It may be noted that there were no imports of the material from March-September, 2015 either.

 In February 2015 last, imports of the material via the port had taken place and the volume had been 72,200 tons and prior to that, 56,228 tons in January.

 Overall, coal imports are coming down in India, because one, domestic production is increasing and second, end-user companies having stocked up for the year-end festive season, when trading becomes slow across global markets.
