No demand for G1 grade coal in Aug e-auction

September 27: No demand was witnessed for G-1 grade coal offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC Ltd. during August 2013.

A total of 10,000 tons of G-1 grade (GCV above 7,000 Kcal/kg) coal was offered by Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) during the month.

In July also not a single ton of G1 grade coal was offered by CIL for sale through this platform.
