No demand was witnessed for G2 grade (GCV ranging from 6,701-7,000 Kcal/Kg) coal offered by CIL for allotment through the MSTC platform in February 2016 as out of the entire offerings of 960 tons, no allotment was there, as per data available with ICMW
Poor demand was witnessed for G2 grade coal offered by CIL for allotment through MSTC in January 2016 as out of the entire offerings of 53,000 tons, 7,010 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,488 per ton.
However, G2 grade was not offered in December, 2015 by CIL subsidiaries for allotment through MSTC.
