No fresh offers of pet coke from Saudi refiners

There is currently no offer for pet coke from Saudi Arabian refiners till March loading, industry sources said.

“The Saudi Arabian refiners have already booked their supplies till March and they have currently stopped coming out with offers,” they said.

Almost the entire quantity to be produced in those refineries in Saudi Arabia has been tied up by Indian companies, they added.

According to them, Indian companies have booked as much as 600,000 to 700,000 tons of Saudi Arabian cargo which will arrive till the middle of April.

Any fresh deal is likely to be signed only after the end of this month (February), they claimed.
