No gypsum imported in December via Marmagoa Port

As in November, there were no gypsum imports via Marmagoa Port during December 2015, as per provisional information available with ICMW.

A volume of 41 tons of the material had been imported through this port in October 2015.

For the first nine months (April-December) of the current fiscal (2015-16), gypsum imports via Marmagoa Port stood at 41 tons while 85 tons had been imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

However, there were no gypsum imports via the port in December 2014.

Following is the monthly break-up of gypsum imports via Marmagoa Port in 2015-16 and 2014-15: 

During October 2015, the entire 41 tons had come from Oman at a price of Rs 9,677 ($148) per ton.
