No gypsum imported in January via Marmagoa Port

As in November and December, 2015, there were no gypsum imports via Marmagoa Port during January 2016, as per provisional information available with ICMW.

A volume of 41 tons of the material had been imported through this port in October 2015.

For the first 10 months (April-January) of the current fiscal (2015-16), gypsum imports via Marmagoa Port stood at 41 tons while 140 tons had been imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

However, there were 55 tons of gypsum imports via the port in January 2015.

Following is the monthly break-up of gypsum imports via Marmagoa Port in 2015-16 and 2014-15:

During October 2015, the entire 41 tons had come from Oman at a price of Rs 9,677 ($148) per ton.
