No gypsum imported in November via Marmagoa Port

December 16: There were no gypsum imports via Marmagoa Port during November 2015, as per provisional information available with ICMW. A volume of 41 tons of the material had been imported through this port in October 2015.

Meanwhile, gypsum imports via this port stood at 41 tons during the first eight months (April-November) of 2015-16, resulting in a decline of 51.76% in comparison to 85 tons imported during the same period in 2014-15. 

However, 41 tons of gypsum was imported via the port in November 2014.

Following is the monthly break-up of gypsum imports via Marmagoa Port in 2015-16 and 2014-15:

During October 2015, the entire 41 tons came from Oman at a price of Rs 9,677 ($148) per ton.
