No limestone imports via Marmagoa in December

There were no imports of limestone via Marmagoa Port in December 2015, according to provisional data available with ISMW. Incidentally, Marmagoa Port saw imports of limestone for the first time in the current fiscal (fisc) in November 2015, at 55,005 tons.

For the first nine months (April-December) of the current fiscal (2015-16), limestone imports via Marmagoa Port stood at 55,005 tons against 108,133 tons seen in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

During November, the entire material came in from the UAE at a unit price of Rs 802 ($12).
