No met coke imported through Paradip Port in September

October 14: There were no imports of met coke through the port of Paradip in September, 2014, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
In August, volumes were at 46,336 tons, while in September 2013 the volumes were at 23,722 tons.
Total imports of met coke via the port during the first six months of the current financial year (2014-15) stood at 428,746 tons against 294,186 tons imported through the port during the same period of 2013-14.
Total met coke imports through this port for the entire financial year of 2013-14 amounted to 736,796 tons.

In August, imports consisted of 15,336 tons from China in a band of Rs 8,871 – Rs 14,012 ($143-227) per ton, 21,000 tons from Colombia at a unit price of Rs 18,217 ($300) and the balance 10,000 tons from the Russian Federation at a unit price of Rs 12,871 ($208).
