No met coke imports via V O Chidambaranar in Jan

There were no met coke imports via VO Chidambaranar Port (Tuticorin Port) in January 2016 or in December 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW. A volume of 419 tons of the material had been imported via this port in November 2015.

For the first 10 months (April-January) of the current fiscal (2015-16), met coke imports via this port stood at 3,774 tons while 632 tons had been imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

In November 2015, out of the entire volume of 419 tons, 304 tons came in from China at a price range of Rs 14,672-Rs 17,337 ($222-$260) per ton while import details of 115 tons were not available.
