There was no offerings by Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL) through spot-e auction on coaljunction in January, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
There was a sharp fall in the offered and allotted quantities of coal by SCCL in December.
The total offering during the month was down 55.58% to 362,500 tons compared to the November offering of 816,000 tons while the allotted quantity declined by 59.34% to 195,533 tons from 480,938 tons in November.
The total offered and allocated quantities by SCCL on coaljunction in 2014-15 stood at 3.02 mt and 1.91 mt as compared to 1.93 mt and 1.58 mt respectively in 2013-14
The offered and allotted quantities during the first 10 months of 2015-16 stood at 3.18 mt and 1.34 mt respectively.
