No offerings for G1 grade in Jan on coaljunction

There was no offering for G1 (GCV above 7,001 Kcal/kg) in January 2016 on coaljunction, according to data available with ICMW.

However, low demand was witnessed for G1 grade coal in December 2015 on coaljunction as out of the offered quantity of 30,000 tons by North Eastern Coalfields Ltd (NECL) only a small quantity of 7,570 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,651 per ton.

Like January 2016, there were no offerings of G1 grades of coal on the e-auction platform of coaljunction by Coal India (CIL) subsidiaries in November 2015.
