No offers for G13 grade in Feb on other platform

There was no offer for G13 grade (GCV 3,401 to 3,700 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through the e-auction platform of MSTC in February 2016, as per data available with ICMW.

However, very strong demand was witnessed in January 2016 for grade G13 coal as the entire quantity of 485,000 tons offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,193 per ton.

Likewise, very strong demand was witnessed in December 2015 for grade G13 coal as the entire quantity of 335,000 tons offered on MSTC by CIL got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,216 per ton.
