No pet coke imports through Kolkata Port in Dec

There were no pet coke imports via Kolkata Port in December 2015 while in November, these had improved to 18,075 tons after plunging to an abysmal 307 tons in October, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
Imports of the material in December 2014 were at a mere 122 tons and for full fiscal 2014-15, were at 165,009 tons.
Total imports of the material in the first nine months of the current fiscal of 2015-16 edged down 9.19% year-on-year to 112,772 tons against 124,188 tons seen in the same period of the previous fiscal.
Following is the break-up of month-wise imports of pet coke via Kolkata Port in 2015-16 and 2014-15:

In November, 18,050 tons had arrived from Saudi Arabia at a price range of Rs 3,632 – 3,912 ($106) and the balance 25 tons from China at a unit price of Rs 35,312 ($533).
