Nov anthracite imports via Chennai drop 68% m-o-m

December 26: Anthracite coal imports via Chennai Port dropped 67.77% to 116 tons in November 2014 against a volume of 360 tons in October 2014, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In November, the entire material came from China at a price range of Rs 19,405 tons-Rs 24,921 tons ($313-$ 403) a ton.

In October, all the consignments arrived from China in a range of Rs 21,255- Rs 24,644 ($343-397) per ton.
