December 8: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Vizag in November 2015 catapulted by more than 351% month-on-month to 18,300 tons against 4,052 tons seen in October, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
In November, a single consignment arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 6,063 ($91).
October imports of the material included a consignment of 4,000 tons from Russia at a unit price of Rs 7,150 ($107) and the remaining 52 tons came from China at a unit price of Rs 24,052 ($368).
