Nov coking coal imports via Mundra treble m-o-m

December 31: Coking coal imports through Mundra Port in November 2014 rose almost thrice to 202,586 tons from 64,982 tons recorded in October 2014, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In November 2013, coking coal imports via the port stood at 38,358 tons.
Total imports of coking coal through Mundra Port during the first eight months of 2014-15 stood at 767,152 tons against 694,154 tons reported during the same period of the previous financial year.

In November 2014, the entire material came in from Australia at Rs 5,940-Rs 8,924 ($96-$144) per ton while during October 2014, the entire material came from Australia at a price range of Rs 6,871-Rs 8,991 ($110-$144) per ton.
