December 15: Imports of limestone via Gangavaram Port stood at 100,752 tons in November 2015, sharply up 99.96% compared to 50,387 tons imported in October 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
For the first eight months (April-November) of the current fiscal (2015-16), limestone imports via Gangavaram Port stood at 706,849 tons against 405,211 tons seen in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

During November, the entire material came in from the UAE at a unit price of Rs 1,119 ($17).
During October, the entire material came in from the UAE too but at a price of Rs 1,133 ($17) per ton.
