OPGCL floats RFP to set up railway line, CHP

November 25: Odisha Power Generation Corporation Limited (OPGCL), has floated a request for proposal (RFP) notice to set up railway lines for carrying coal to the Ib thermal power station Banharpali in Jharsuguda, Odisha.

The work includes construction of a dedicated merry-go-round railway line to transport coal from captive coal mine at Manoharpur to OPGC to the power station at Ib valley as well construction of a coal handling plant (CHP) at the captive coal mine and water pipeline to supply water from the power station to the captive coal mine.

Interested parties can submit their bids till December 31, 2013.
