Oct anthracite imports via Paradip Port drop 48% m-o-m

November 7: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Paradip were at 6,000 tons in October 2014 against 11,500 tons in September, showing a decrease of 47.83%, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
Coal imports through the port were hit because of Cyclone Hudhud that had made a landfall last month.
In October, a single consignment arrived from Vietnam at a unit price of Rs 16,340 ($262).
In September, a single consignment arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 7,578 ($124).
