Oct coking coal imports via Mundra down 16% m-o-m

November 21: Coking coal imports through Mundra Port in October 2014 fell almost 15.83% to 64,982 tons from 77,206 tons recorded in September 2014, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In October 2013, coking coal imports via the port stood at 130,202 tons.
Total imports of coking coal through Mundra Port during the first seven months of 2014-15 stood at 564,566 tons against 655,796 tons reported during the same period of the previous financial year.

During October 2014, the entire material came from Australia at a price range of Rs 6,871-Rs 8,991 ($110-$144) per ton.
However, in September 2014, the entire quantity came in from Australia at a price range of Rs 6,572-Rs 8,973 ($108-$147) per ton whereas during August 2014, the entire quantity came in from Australia at a price range of Rs 6,822-Rs 8,973 ($110-$147) per ton.
