November 6: G10 grade coal (GCV range 4,301 and 4,600 Kcal/kg) offered for e-auction on the coaljunction platform during October saw good demand as 208,926 tons of coal out of an offered quantity of 241,156 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,993/ton.
However, during September, G10 grade offerings faced poor demand as only 48.57% or 25,260 tons of coal out of an offered quantity of 52,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,605/ton.
On the other hand, demand for G10 grade coal was strong in August on the coaljunction platform as 97% or 102,398 tons of the total offered quantity of 105,558 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,773/ton.
