November 7: The off-specification steam coal prices remained slightly firm in an otherwise dull market on November 6, industry sources said.
The prices of Indonesian material of 5,900 Kcal/kg GAR and 5,000 Kcal/kg GAR inched up further along with South African 5,500 Kcal/kg NAR and Australian 6,300 Kcal/kg during the day, they said.
Freight rates and coking coal prices remained largely unchanged at previous levels, they added.
