PCI coal imports via Paradip up 50.41% in August m-o-m

September 28: Imports of pet coke through the port of Paradip stood at 36,000 tons in August 2013 against 23,934 tons in July 2013, showing a rise of 50.41%, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In August, the entire quantity arrived from Australia in a price range of Rs 8,636- Rs 9,454 (140-$145).

In July, however, the entire quantity arrived from Ukraine at Rs 7,474 ($126) per ton.
