PCI imports in Sept via Paradip drop 46.49% m-o-m

October 14: PCI coal imports through the port of Paradip dropped 46.49% to 31,246 tons in September 2014 against a volume of 58,400 tons reported in August, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In September, three consignments arrived from Australia in a price band of Rs 6,250 – Rs 6,800 ($101-111) per ton.

In August, a single consignment arrived from Australia at a unit price of Rs 6,564 ($106) while in July a single consignment arrived from Australia but at a unit price of Rs 6,970 (116).
