PCI imports through Chennai Port at 53 tons

December 26: PCI coal imports through Chennai Port in November stood at 53 tons, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

There were no imports of the material in October 2014 while the imports of the same stood at 20 tons in September 2014.

There have been no imports of the material for six consecutive months till August 2014.

In November, the entire consignment arrived from the UK at a unit price of Rs 29,333 ($474)

In September, a single consignment arrived from the UK at a unit price of Rs 29,732 ($487).
