PCI imports via Mormugao up 14% in Nov m-o-m

December 12: PCI coal imports through the port of Mormugao stood at 85,202 tons in November 2014, up 14.24% from 74,580 tons imported in October, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
In November 2013, the volume of PCI coal imports through the port stood at nil.
In the first eight (April-November) months of the current financial year (2014-15), PCI coal imports through the port stood at 257,185 tons as against 68,075 tons imported during the same period of 2013-14.

In November 2014, the entire material came in from Australia at a price of Rs 6,997 ($113) per ton whereas during October 2014, the entire material arrived from Australia at a price of Rs 6,952 ($112) per ton.
