PCI coal imports through the port of Paradip in December 2015 stood at 111,750 tons against 100,000 tons in November, showing a modest increase of 11.75% month-on-month, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
In December 2015, all the consignments arrived from Australia in a band of Rs 4,804 – Rs 5,067 ($71-76) per ton.
In November 2015, the entire volume arrived from Australia too but in a price range of Rs 4,874 – Rs 5,957 ($73-89) per ton.
